Surprise! MySpace Top Invitation Manager

As MySpace continues to fall further behind FaceBook as the #1 social networking site in the world.  It is surprisingly getting better in some areas.  One of the most interesting areas is its invitation service.  Shockingly, MySpace claims to have 2.5 million event invitations per month, which is double what FaceBook does and 5x more than Evite!  If you think about it these numbers make total sense, MySpace rules the younger population and they are organizing underaged drinking parties.

On another note, I think its safe to say Evite shouldn’t claim to be the top event management site on the web.  For as much as we dog MySpace for not adapting to the times to maintain market share there is still some fight left in them.  And like we mentioned last week regarding MySpace Mail being in 4th place amongst global email providers you never know what the future holds.
