Reddit Is Useless For Adsense

Our technically challenged winner of the day goes to Few_days_b4_death for his work on Reddit.  This individual made the front page of Reddit with the title and link of – “Reddit is useless for adsense” ; Read this spammers! (please upvote so that all the spammers have a chance to click this link).

So it seems our technically disordered winner would prefer not to see Ads on the sites submitting to Reddit.  Does he realize sites like CNN.com use ads?  In fact, they use pop up ads.  Don’t believe me, turn off your pop us blocker and go visit them!  With this being said I think its fair to say most website uses some form of advertising.  The only reason to run a website without Ads would be to promote a product, represent a business, or have so much money that you just don’t care.

So challenged one, what’s Adsense to you?  It’s the one of the least annoying Ad Networks in the marketplace.  All it does is reside on the side of a website allowing a blogger or website to profit for their work.  Essentially think of it as allowing them to survive while they entertain you.  So I ask, what would Reddit be like without sites running Ads?

My answer is NOT Reddit

Google Responds To Microsoft’s Bing With A Bang

It’s old vs new, it’s reliable vs cool,  it’s monopoly vs monopoly, it’s Microsoft vs Google.  And all of this comes right before Ultimate Fighting Championship 100!

Here’s where we stand.  First, Microsoft reveals the Bing search engine, which to everyone’s surprise actually works, to cut into Google’s search empire.  Then Google responds with a bang by announcing news of the Google Chrome OS to cut into Microsoft’s OS empire.

This is just the opening bell.  Expect both sides to throw around cash advertising their perspective products.  The big question is whether the Google OS handle business apps.  This ultimately was the biggest obstacle for Apple OS in competing with Microsoft.  Only time will tell, but I’ve got a feeling Google utilizing cloud technology and seamless Internet will take a big slice out of the market share.  Quick sell your Microsoft stock.  Actually wait until Windows 7 comes out of the gates strong and then sell!
