People Of Walmart Website Goes Viral

We’ve seen videos go viral, but occassionally a website will go wild as well. This is exactly what happened to the website peopleofwamart.com. The site is based around the concept of following individuals that shop at Walmart. I must say my first impression is this site is hilarious.
The site was created in August 2009 by a group of friends that visited Walmart and came away with the feeling we all get “man there are some strange people that shop here.” So what you end up with is a photo gallery with mullets, short shorts, and everything else you would find at a trailer park.
What is brilliant about the site’s concept is that the webmasters have Walmart shoppers submitting pictures to them. This allows the legwork to be done for them. Does this work for every site? I officially would like to announce I am accepting all pictures and videos of technicapped individuals. For now these pictures can go into the contact section, but I will be setting up a box on the sidebar to make this an easy process.

The public bus and subway systems are littered with amazing photo opportunities. Many of us have been sitting alone witnessing something amazing and only wishing we could share the experience with our friends. Well now you can!
Thank you,
